Abstract
This research constructs ontology for the organic rice agriculture knowledge by obtaining important concepts which were based on the STEM learning concept using knowledge engineering. The main objective was to create a common understanding about organic rice farming. Using a well created ontology based on the STEM learning concept makes it possible to distribute and utilize this knowledge for knowledge workers. This study used the STEM learning concept to organize the existing knowledge of organic rice agriculture. This research achieves by highlighting the advantages of ontology in supplementary knowledge for knowledge workers. Eventually, the ontologies offer an approach for knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation and modelling that will assist successful utilization of the organic rice agriculture. Furthermore, the ontology-based on the STEM learning concept established in this research offers such a curriculum design and be used by non-science and technology educated knowledge workers in distant provinces of Thailand.
