Abstract

The transient response of zinc oxide ceramics with additives such as Bi/sub 2/O/sub 3/, Sb/sub 2/O/sub 3/, and MnO/sub 2/ was investigated. A microstructural study suggests that all the ZnO grains are surrounded by an intergranular layer. The voltage-current characteristics measured at 20 degrees C and 60 degrees C are shown.
