Abstract

In this paper, a ranging algorithm is proposed using the short-range Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar. Specifically, the complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise (CEEMDAN) is presented to decompose the intermediate frequency (IF) signal. Then, the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is proposed to help select useful intrinsic mode function. Finally, the zero-padded fast Fourier transform is performed on the reconstructed signal.
