Abstract

In order to ensure a reliable operation of radio services like radio broadcasting or terrestrial navigation, the electromagnetic emissions of Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS) must be taken into account. Due to the enormous metrological effort as well as the dependence on weather conditions, which influences the power level of WECS, the idea of measuring the common-mode current Icm on the power line of WECS and estimating the magnetic field based on this quantity arises.
