Abstract

This paper proposes a special Halbach structure for the magnetic circuit design of voice coil motors(VCM). The permanent magnets arranged by the special Halbach array are stators and the coils are movers. After calculation and finite element software Ansoft Maxwell simulation, the results show that the improved structure not only provides greater thrust but also achieves more stable accuracy than conventional Halbach magnet arrays.
