Abstract

Although coupled microstrip line structure are widely used in various microwave components for miniaturization, because of its phase velocity difference in Wilkinson power divider design, port reflections (S11, $S$22 and $S$33) cannot match with port isolation (S32) at the same center frequency. In this paper, several compensation approaches are summarized for compact Wilkinson power dividers with single-band application. By adding extra lumped elements, capacitor or inductor can be shunted into the coupled microstrip line structures.
