Abstract

A new family of extremely low viscosity (<100 cps) epoxy resins has been developed as vacuum pressure impregnants (v.p.i.) for motor and generator insulation. These new formulations consist of cycloaliphatic epoxy resins modified with an epoxy reactive diluent catalyzed with an organotin compound and an accelerator.
