Abstract

The parallel active filter (PAF) will require an adequate and robust control system to have good harmonic compensation in the network due to the frequent use of certain so-called non-linear loads. For this, a comparative study was carried out with the implementation of the various control strategies, namely the instantaneous power PQ method, the instantaneous current DQ method and the direct power control DPC method. The comparative study between these command and control strategies is carried out by simulation tests under different conditions such as: the variation of the load and the variation of the reference voltage of the DC bus, in order to evaluate the dynamic performances of these strategies and indeed the overall behavior of the active filter.
