Abstract
Introduction: Burkitt’s Lymphoma (BL), whose history began in the 1950s through observations by the surgeon Denis Burkitt on the African continent, is a type of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) characterized by a translocation in the Myc gene within the germinal center of the lymph nodes. It is highly invasive and proliferative, making it the human tumor that doubles in size most rapidly. It has three known etiologies: endemic, sporadic, and immunodeficiency. Objective: The project aimed to demonstrate the clinical and epidemiological differences of Burkitt’s lymphoma, given the similarities between the etiologies. Methodology: A literature review was conducted, covering clinical case studies of the various subtypes, in order to
