In this proposed system, Raspberry Pi 3 is used as a coordinator node which collects the data collected by the sensors. RPi communicates with the sensor node uses ZigBee wireless protocol for communication. Abstract

India, being a developing nation, basically relies on farming. For farming water is essential factor. In other countries also the major profession of human Being is agriculture, out of available land 64% is engaged by the farming, and it needs nearly 85% of clean water. This paper represents the irrigation system using the Linux board and wireless sensor network.
