The maximum bud breaking was observed in 6 ppm BAP concentration. Abstract

Plant tissue culture offers the potential for rapidly increasing selected bamboo clones for conservation and reforestation. Bud break is important for the successful micro propagation in bamboo. An organogenesis optimization protocol is described for Dendrocalamus asper.
