Abstract

The HoSè project can allow the significant reduction of human error by implementing access control functions to the operating theater: epidemiological studies have shown that post-operative mortality is related to poor intraoperative hygiene. There are already technologies on the market that can allow the above functions individually. However, this work intends to raise the need for their integrated use (RFID, biometric techniques and blockchain technology), in order to allow a more rigorous control in compliance with the various health protocols and privacy.
