Abstract

In the Land Registration System in Indonesia according to Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997 Customary/Ulayat Land is not one of the subjects of land registration, at the Southeast Maluku Land Office, customary land registration is sporadic through the land registration mechanism. customary law system by issuing Tual City Regulation Number 04 of 2020 concerning Ratschap, Ohoi/Finua, land registration at the Southeast Maluku Regency Land Office is currently only owned by individuals/individual clans, with the stipulation that conversion/proof of old rights is processed through the Recognition of Rights. and its legal status changes from land of former customary rights to property rights that have legal force in accordance with the provisions of the legislation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
