Abstract

Tao is an important classical theory of literature and art in China.Based on the three papers by Liu Xie,Han Yu and Zhang Xuecheng,this paper tries to point out the meaning of tao in Confucianism and the inˉfluence of the changes of Confucianism on the classical theory.
