Abstract
: This study aims to describe students' mathematical literacy skills. This research is a case study qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely test and interview techniques. In this study, the sampling used was purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A of SMPN 2 Pacitan for the academic year 2020/2021. The instruments used in this study were test instruments, and interviews. While the data analysis used is Miles and Hubermen. Based on this research, the results showed that: 1) HPA subjects only met 2 indicators of mathematical literacy ability, namely, the ability to analyze information displayed in the form of images and the ability to relate to numbers and mathematical symbols. 2) AIP subjects only met 1 indicator of mathematical literacy ability, namely, skills related to numbers and mathematical symbols.
