Overview of Electronic Calibrations for DACs

Abstract

In this paper, electronic calibrations of a digital-to-analog converter are discussed. Based on the literature review, a classification of electronic calibrations is proposed and discussed in detail. The classification relies on divisions by a presence of a calibration element, a type of a storage for calibration signal and a target signal of the calibration. Also, the schematic implementation designs of calibration circuit’s components are provided.
