Abstract

A differentially fed rectangular dielectric resonator antenna is presented. In this paper, a balanced power divider (PD) is used to feed the proposed DRA. The rectangular DRA can be excited by a wide bandwidth with two modes which are $\mathrm{TE}_{\mathbf{11\delta}}$ and $\mathrm{TE}_{\mathbf{11(\delta +1)}}$, using the differential feed.
