Abstract

Undergraduate learning programs in manufacturing planning and control should develop an understanding of the dynamic and cross-functional nature of the activities which are involved and the skills required to deal with these issues. Computer assisted learning using a tutorial-simulation approach provides an effective way of achieving this. The paper outlines an approach to relating the design to the desired educational outcomes.<>
