Antibiotic Resistance Phenotypes of Escherichia Coli Strains Isolated from Urinary Tract Infections in the Medical Biology Laboratory of Niamakoro FOMBA Hospital in Segou, Mali

Abstract

cross-sectional study with descriptive purposes that took place from January to December 2020 at the medical biology laboratory of Niamakoro FOMBA Hospital in Ségou. Uriselect 4 Agar was used for urine culture followed by biochemical identification by API 20E gallery. The antibiogram was then performed by the disc method according to the 2019 recommendations of the antibiogram committee of the French Society of Microbiology.
