λ-Transition at the lower critical field in type-II-superconductors ?

Abstract

Abrikosov's physically intuitive ansatz of superposing free flux lines in order to calculate the mixed state of type-II-superconductors at the lower critical field is shown to be mathematically exact for all κ >$\text{1}\text{2}$√2 in the framework of Ginzburg-Landau-theory.
