Abstract
Due to its high-efficiency characteristics, the three-level boost DC-DC converter is widely used as a PV fed converter to connect PV panels to the DC bus. In our previous work [13], a decentralized energy management system for EV fast charging station was proposed where a conventional two-level boost DC-DC converter was used as a PV fed converter. In this paper, this converter is replaced by a three-level one. MPPT, output voltage and capacitors voltage balance are carried out, which facilitate the converter implementation on the charging station.
