Abstract

One of the most familiar problem in reverse engineering for generating CAD model from point cloud of physical part is presence of deep and narrow holes. Triangulation is one of the important step for generating a CAD model in reverse engineering. Due to formation of incorrect triangulations along the boundary of a hole, reconstruction algorithms are not able to recover the hole boundaries.
