Abstract

Zalmai was born in Kabul in the 1950s. He lived in Afghanistan until the intervention of the Soviet troops, he was then working for a local travel agency. In 1979, he left Afghanistan and moved to France where he married and started his family. He continued to work in the tourism sector in France and retired in 2012.
