Abstract
The rapid growth of technology and innovation has led to rapid changes in digital transformation, diversifying consumer demands and values. To keep up with these rapid changes and avoid various risks, it is essential to accelerate the cycle of data collection, analysis, and problem extraction, and to improve the work style. In this context, continuous improvement requires several trials and errors within a short period by reusing and integrating existing devices and services to quickly build and update applications. However, cooperation between existing devices is difficult because of the lack of interoperability. This paper proposes an architecture to bridge the interoperability gap between information models by automatically inserting services to convert the data models. The proposed method is based on an information model that describes application requirements, conversion services, and devices, and then searches for another information model matching these requirements. We demonstrate the feasibility of our approach through experiments.
