Étude qualitative des solutions de l'équation différentielle d'Emden-Fowler

Abstract

Qualitative methods of the theory of ordinary differential equations are used to study the singularities of Emden-Fowler's equation in the (u,v)-plane. The phase-portrait of the trajectories is obtained by the method of isoclines for a number of values of the polytropic index.
