Abstract
The article presents a consistent theory of self-aligning spatial Assur and non-assuric cam mechanisms of a general functional design. The cam mechanism, the basis of the kinematic chain of which is the classical Assur-Artobolevsky group, is called the Assur or Asuric structure.
