Adopting the a general inductive approach, this paper analyzes the current situation of teaching evaluation at A university, and summarizes the goal of establishing the evaluation system and outlines the three main issues of the current system. A review of the history and development of teaching evaluation domestic and abroad is also presented. Implications for improving teaching evaluation are discussed, and calls for student training, index system-perfecting and scientific results-using involvement are made.
