Abstract

The article discusses the issues of gender characteristics of the leadership. Based on the analysis of the works of classics of psychological and sociological science, as well as relying on secondary data from empirical studies of modern scientists, the author shows that gender differences take place, however, it has not been established whether they are fully gender, i.e. developed ultimately under the influence of socialization or «children’s complexes,» «archetypes,» stereotypes.» Or it may be the result of a typical expected reaction by others to the behavior of male and female leaders.
