Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Siswa Baru Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus : MI Bani Hasyim Desa Lengkong Kecamatan Cerme)

Abstract

- Admission system for new students in elementary schools, for example MI Bani Hasyim is still done manually, where new students and their parents must come directly to MI Bani Hasyim to fill out registration forms. Through this system, the student admission process has not been effective and efficient because it requires a lot of time and money. In addition, with the manual admission system at MI Bani Hasyim, the target number of new students that have been set has not been achieved. From these problems, this study aims to create a web-based new student registration information system. The new PSB system has the ability to fill out registration forms, upload supporting data such as photos of new students, birth certificate, and family card, then the admin can validate the data and files of prospective participants to assess whether the registrant has met the registration requirements or not, and print out the form for re-registration. System development follows the waterfall method. The author uses PHP and MySQL. The result of this research is a web-based new registration information system that will make it easier for stakeholders involved in the admission of new students such as new students parents, new student admissions committee and others.
