Abstract Soil testing is very necessary because the soil above the structure that has a load (traffic load that is passed) is obliged to carry out a test test. Soil is useful for knowing the bearing capacity of the soil as a construction foundation so that the soil is intended for embankment of roads and bridges. During the soil testing period, it took 14 working days for the implementation of the process and the time was quite long to get the expected results. To find out if the test has passed, the material to be tested must comply with the classification of the SNI method. In this study, the forward chaining method was used. Based on existing data, the system can provide recommended recommendations based on the indicators provided as well us successfully implement the forward chaining method in preparing test materials for consumers.
