There are many related researches on the above influencing factors, but relatively few researches are attached on the microwave propagation characteristics under the condition of sea salt mist. It is of great significance to clarify the law of microwave propagation attenuation under the condition of salt mist for the microwave applications such as maritime communication and radar detection. In this paper, the parameters of the salt mist environment were analyzed and modeled firstly, and the relationship between salt mist concentration and dielectric constant was given. Then, based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) numerical analysis, the microwave propagation law through salt mist under different concentration was calculated and analyzed.
