Abstract

The abilities of SSSC over impedance type make it more preferable in many applications. Fine control schemes and settings should be applied in order to achieve these superior abilities. In addition, the quadrature voltage generated by SSSC with respect to the phase voltage gives its ability to control the load angle and then the power flow of the transmission line.
