Abstract

Quadrate bowtie antenna with round corners is proposed in this paper, which provides how antenna's height and area influences impendence and radiation pattern bandwidth by comparing three types of bowtie antennas, and its performances, including reflection loss and gain in normal direction, are enhanced. Its area is smaller than the general triangle bowtie antenna.
