Abstract

This chapter outlines current developments in feedback use within healthcare education, such as e-portfolios, appraisal and 360 degree appraisal. It discusses the impact of formative or summative purpose on the nature and outcomes of feedback exercises and suggests some useful tips for carrying out feedback.
