Abstract

Specialized stainless 09Kh17N7Yu steel becomes more usable in various fields of mechanical engineering due to its unique properties, but recommendations for parameters of the cutting mode and for rational tool materials are out of date. Due to this, excessive consumption of tool materials is observed. It is necessary to develop new recommendations with adaptation to high-performance processing on CNC machines. The recommendations of foreign tool manufacturers are insolvent for choosing their tool, because there are no direct foreign analogues of this steel. Researches are carried out to reduce the consumption of hard tool alloys of VK, ТК and ТТК groups, as well as number of foreign tool materials.
