Selected issues of Al Hadith sciences in which Imam Ibn Katheer disagreed with Imam Ibn al-Salah in his Book “The Shortening of of Al Hadith Sciences”: A comparative study

Abstract

Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer summarized Ibn Al-Salah’s book titled (muqadimat abn alsalah) in the sciences of Al hadith. Although he summarized what he explained, however he was not satisfied with summarizing it only, but Ibn Kathir had his own opinions in which Ibn Al-Salah disagreed with. The issues they disagreed with reached eighteen. This research deals with the study of three models of those issues, which are: (1) judging the validity of the hadith based on the validity of its chain of transmission, (2) Judging on Al hadiths of the Mustadrak by the ruler Abi Abdullah, and (3) Judging on the novel of the innovator who does not atone his innovation.
