Smart collection of data for financial instruments

Abstract

describes an approach to extend ETL tools to analyze data from multiple data sources. This approach allows us to plug in data sources dynamically which leads to the reduction of network traffic as well as costs for data requests. An example of this approach is implemented with an ETL tool called Pentaho Data Integration.
