Abstract

A method of studying dynamic stresses in orthotropic plates with holes has been developed. To solve the problem, the Laplace transform and the method of integral equations are used. The kernels of integral equations are given as the sum of kernels for a static problem and integrated functions. The Prudnikov formula fitted to dynamic problems of the theory of elasticity is used to perform the Laplace inversion. Dynamic stresses near an elliptical hole for various anisotropic materials are calculated. It is shown that the developed algorithm allows us to determine dynamic stresses over time with controlled accuracy.
