The method used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained in this study is using Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis techniques in the form of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the study show the process of applying reading literacy habits to Indonesian subjects. The implementation of Indonesian language learning on the theme 5 my heroes, in developing reading literacy habits the teacher teaches to adjust learning methods and media that will make students better understand my hero material. Abstract

Literacy is used as a learning process to be more effective in schools, in order to make students more skilled in finding and obtaining the information needed. This research is motivated by various problems that occur in literacy learning in elementary schools.
