Abstract

With the improvement of vehicle driving safety and comfort requirements, the use of hydraulic retarder in medium and heavy vehicles is more and more common. In order to adapt to different vehicle parameters, matching design should be carried out for specific vehicles. In order to meet the controllable requirements of braking torque under different loading and road conditions, it is necessary to regulate and control the braking torque of retarder within a certain range. In this paper, the control and matching design of hydraulic retarder are analyzed and summarized through relevant literature and practical application.
