RFIC activities in Korea and POSTECH related to mobile communications

Abstract

Korea is a major provider for mobile handsets and also has some respectable production base in mobile infrastructure. These activities are carried out mainly by big companies, such as Samsung, LG, and PanTech. Due to the large internal demand within Korea, the RFIC activities, related to the mobile communication, are very strong.
