The transition uses two kinds of coaxial probes and has hermetic characteristics. It can also be used in other band, such as Ka-band. The structure is demonstrated for designing the transition. HFSS simulation and measurement results for the transition structure have been compared in terms of |S/sub 21/|. The comparison shows that the measurement agrees well with the simulation result. Abstract
