During cloud deployment, cloud service providers aim on the energy cost reduction, load-balancing and efficiently accomplishment of the task. Several researches have been carried out to improve the performance of cloud computing but still there are various issues are unaddressed such as load-balancing, resource allocation, VM migration and energy efficient task scheduling etc. In this article, we have reviewed recent techniques of load-balancing, and resource allocation and discussed about their advantages and drawbacks.
