Construction of Multidimensional Poverty Model for Urban Youth

Abstract

This paper Used the 2011-2015 CHNS database and based on the Alkire-Foster model, to analyze the status, characteristics and poverty-reducing mechanism of urban youth multidimensional poverty in China. Studies showed that: The urban youth poverty in China has been extended from single dimension to multidimensional, the incidence of multidimensional poverty is high, and the form of poverty is complex.
