Abstract

The global cement industry handles billions of tons of dusty material (raw meal and cement) each year and does a good job of keeping dust out of the atmosphere. Over the years, the allowable dust emissions from cement plants have become lower and lower. This paper discusses and compares the different methods of removing dust particles from the exhaust gases of cement processes.
