Abstract

The COVID-19 virus has caused a large-scale global outbreak and has become a major public health issue 1. Although there are several vaccines, herd immunity will likely take a long time to establish, and it is not clear whether the existing vaccines are completely effective against evolved versions of the virus. The COVID-19 virus as well as other respiratory viruses can be spread through coughing, sneezing, skin contact, etc., and can enter the human body from the eyes, nasal cavity, and oral cavity.
