Abstract
This paper presents an approach to the automatic detection of white blood cells in bone marrow microscopic images. This approach is based on fuzzy techniques with the aim to allow: good processing of both vagueness and indetermination characteristics of this kind of image; and the analysis of monochrome instead of color images.
