Abstract
In the sensor networks, the methods of transmitting data to the base station (BS) is differenced from than protocol to the other, each protocol search to minimize the transmission costs (energy for example) finally to increase the network performance (network survivability time, security ...), in order, to increase the lifetime of the network, it is necessary to think of a strategy (protocols) that allows the management and minimization of the energy consumption to know the hierarchical routing protocol. The simulation of this type of protocols shows that the lifetime of networks is very important compared to the flat protocols, that's why they are the subject of our research to improve and proposed more efficient protocols in energy and life time of networks. The best-known clustering protocol in wireless sensor networks is the LEACH protocol (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy), which is the basic of research in the clustering technique. For this purpose, we will focus on the energy performance of this protocol and compare their simulation results with other protocols hierarchical namely the PEGASIS (Power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor Information System) and compared all results with our proposed method based on hierarchical protocols namely LEACH and PEGASIS protocols.
