Abstract
This paper deals with the ability of reverberation chambers to perform radiation efficiency measurements of antennas. Reverberation chambers are convenient platforms to test various shapes and sizes of antennas and are operated over large frequency bandwidths. Various method of measurements are possible including different stirring techniques, but uncertainty must be correctly determined. To do so, we propose a procedure that uses the stochastic nature of the fields. In case of a well-operating reverberation chamber, the measurement error distribution is predicted by the stochastic nature of the fields.
