Abstract

The exigency of managing, modeling and navigating today’s intricate business climates and environments is an exemplar of the demand for an additional force to drive the decision making processes. Business intelligence systems govern and support the decision making process for the corporate management by analyzing and interpreting the available and stored data. This article explores and analyzes the process of extracting, loading, storing, transforming and dissecting data to find meaningful trends and patterns and reaching to conclusions. This article presents and studies two such processes and recommends the appropriate cases of their use.
